Back in late 1997/early' 98 I was made aware of the merkaba by a friend.I was told it to be very powerful and that it was the in thing spiritually speaking. The merkaba I was shown was in the form of a star tetrahedral structure and I felt it to be quite solid like it had a masculinity to it. I can't say I was attracted to it but the main point is that it was brought to my attention. Little was I to know that I would be enrolling myself in doing a merkaba/lightbody workshop and later go on to facilitate the workshops myself!

By mid year of 1998 I went through a major shift or transformation in my life. It was triggered by the break down of a long term relationship and my thirst for wisdom. At that point in my life I wanted to put into practice the knowledge I had accumulated on the new age/metaphysical path thus far, to turn knowledge into wisdom. Part of the transformation was Spirit or my Higher Essence bringing to my attention an article in a new age magazine entitled Eagles Wings. The article was about The Melchizedek Method. Here I was in contact with information having to do with the merkaba once again but this time in the form of a holographic sphere made up of the flower of life pattern. This time I was instantly attracted to it maybe I was finally ready to receive its energy and vibration or simply that I was ready to make a spiritual acceleration in my life.

A year leading up to this change in my life I would recite like a mantra a personal invocation I had made up " I am a divine, sovereign, unlimited, multidimensional being " 3 times followed by the highest words one in human form can utter " I Am That I Am, I Am That I Am, I Am That I Am " on the inbreath and then again on the outbreath. I recited this intensely as I walked, bathed and even when I watched t.v.! I was consciously and subconsciously asking Great Spirit for an acceleration in consciousness and one of the tools I attracted to me was The Melchizedek Method.

I put so much energy and feeling into that personal mantra by the time I found The Melchizedek Method I truly felt that I was a" Divine, sovereign, unlimited, multidimensional being " existing in all dimensions simultaneously. A year later my life took a dramatic change, I walked out of a serious relationship I became vegetarian, followed by experimenting with veganism, fruitarianism and finally fasting. A huge cleansing had taken place so indeed finding the Melchizedek Method via that article by Alton in Eagles Wings was the next natural step to quickening my ascension process. I knew it was what I wanted to get myself involved with. I was attracted to the golden flower of life patterned sphere and couldn't wait till I experienced it first hand. I was pleased to find out not only did it involve merkaba/lightbody activations but it also included healing techniques. This to me made it feel complete maybe because I had completed a Reiki 1 workshop in January of that year or maybe that it covered various aspects of the spiritual path all in one workshop.

I was so excited and looked forward to doing the Melchizedek Method Level 1 workshop. Because one had already been completed in Melbourne I booked my place for the Level 1 workshop held in Adelaide, South Australia in Nov of '98. Flying interstate for only added to the excitement already felt towards doing the workshop. Leading up to the workshop I would type in the air with a stick of burning nag champa incense 13:20:33 Merkaba Activate. I thought and felt that by doing this that it would strengthen my connection to it somehow. I could feel the energy and momentum build as I performed the ritual daily sometimes several times a day. Through the energy felt uttering this code I intuitively knew that this was going to be a very powerful and life changing workshop.

The Melchizedek Method Level 1 workshop was held in Adelaide's Theosophical Society. I found it quite interesting that 44 people attended the workshop. Walking into the workshop space I could feel the excitement in the air as we were about to experience something quite different to what we had experienced in meditation circles before. I was amazed to how many psychics had attended judging from hearing their shared experiences throughout the workshop. I felt humbled and quite privileged to be in the vicinity of so many awakened people.

Alton Kamadon was the facilitator and channel for the Melchizedek Method. I found him to be quite friendly, helpful, funny and a very down to Earth individual. Throughout all of the workshops I attended with him I found him to be quite approachable and I observed that he never seemed to be irritated by people constantly asking him questions and I had a lot of questions lol. They were mainly questions about the mechanics of the techniques....I guess I wanted to make sure I was doing it properly and i kinda felt I didn't want to miss out on anything hehe. One time during the Level 1 workshop someone had asked him of his opinion on the Raelian Movement and he firmly responded with " No Comment " lol I always found him to be professional and respectable of others even if he had his own opinion.

One of the things that stood out for me during the level 1 workshop was the very first merkaba activation technique-Three breath triple hologram of love merkaba. Once activated felt my entire body moving in a spinning motion even though my body remained still. I thought to myself wow! this is powerful stuff! lol This was utterly amazing 'cause I hadn't felt energy to that degree before. I had shared this experience with Alton and the group and he replied matter of factually " Yeah this is normal and is part of the merkaba activation" lol

There were two very interesting events that occurred during that Level 1 workshop, one being a photo of Sai Baba that was placed on the meditation altar began to glow a dot of white light in the region of his third eye. To everyone's astonishment the white light got brighter and brighter throughout the course of the 5 day workshop. It was a manifestation everyone noticed due to there not having been a white light in his third eye to start with. The second event that was brought to everyone's attention was a black unmarked helicopter that had decided to fly in close proximity to the building that we were in right after we had activated at this stage our strengthened combined merkaba love/light fields. We all chuckled as a group for we knew intuitively what we were doing had slipped under the radar and was brought to someone's attention. Alton simply replied " They just came to see what we were doing " like it was something that happened everyday lol.

I thoroughly enjoyed The Melchizedek Method Level 1 workshop and went on to practice the techniques consistently on a day to day basis. I found working with the techniques not only gave me a heightened buzz on a vibrational level but it also opened me up to being more loving to self and others. I awakened to unconditional love to degrees I never could imagine myself doing years earlier. You can say that doing the workshop quickened my spiritual progress exponentially.
